DESCRIPTION:The Brevard Backyard Beekeepers will be buzzing with activity at the UF/IFAS Extension Brevard County Center in Cocoa to celebrate all pollinators.  The event is FREE to the public and is aimed to educate people of all ages about butterflies\, honeybees and the global importance of pollinating insects.  The event will feature:  demonstrations and lectures by Honeybee Experts\, Master Gardeners\, Conservationists and Holistic Health Practitioners; local crafts\, honey and hive products will be available for purchase. \n\nLearn how to help bees and other pollinators using Butterfly and Bee-Friendly\, Native Gardening Practices\nSpelling Bee for Elementary and Middle School Kids\nDiscover the Benefits of supporting all pollinators\nWatch a live honey extraction: fresh\, free local honey samples to take home!\nFood\, vendors\, children’s games and activities\nMerritt Island Wildlife Association Booth
