SUMMARY:Insects and IPAs
DESCRIPTION:Join Merritt Island Wildlife Association and Playalinda Brewery for an incredible insect themed night to benefit the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge complex. Cheers to conservation! Celebrate the debut of ‘Insects and IPA’ craft brew adorned with a custom label featuring native Florida insects. \nUCF Bug Closet Assistant Curator\, Collection of Arthropods\, Robin Marquez\, will have microscopes and specimens to observe. Ethan Wright\, a PhD student in the social insect behavior lab at UCF\, will have live beetles to study and share interesting research about insect parasites of ant nests. \nEnjoy the brewery patio area and be sure to check out their new menu items. From the first pour to the final can\, Playalinda is donating $1 for every 4-pack and $1 for every pour of “Insects and IPA” for the entire brew’s cycle. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
