Join Merritt Island Wildlife Association and Playalinda Brewing Company for an evening celebrating one of Florida’s most iconic aquatic mammals. Manatees, Mocktails, and Music combines wildlife education, interactive activities, and a laid-back social atmosphere for a unique summer experience.
Throughout the evening, wildlife biologists will share fascinating facts about manatee biology, behavior, habitat, and conservation while guests explore hands-on education stations designed for all ages. Learn how manatees use Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge and surrounding waterways, discover the challenges these gentle giants face, and find out how you can help protect them.
Be sure to visit the life-size manatee banner photo station to capture a memorable photo and complete all education stations to be entered into free raffle prize drawings. Guests can also browse exclusive manatee-themed merchandise, with all proceeds benefiting Merritt Island Wildlife Association’s conservation and education efforts supporting the manatees that live freely within Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge.
