Eco-Buggy Tour of Lake Woodruff

Climb aboard for a fun and informative Eco-Buggy Tour through the wild wonders of Lake Woodruff National Wildlife Refuge! This Naturalist guided ride will take you deep into the heart of the 22,000-acre refuge, winding around marshes, swamps, hammocks, and upland habitats teeming with life.

We’ll make several stops along the way to spot wildlife and share curious facts about the plants and ecosystems that make this place so special. It’s the perfect mix of fresh air, fascinating nature, and good company—tailored especially for wildlife enthusiasts who love to learn while they explore!

Meet at the Mayaca Trail parking area to board the eco-buggy (pass the Nature Center, cross the railroad tracks, first parking area on your right). Seats are limited.  Every participant will need a ticket. Please wear sun protection and bring a refillable water bottle.  Boarding the eco-buggy requires the ability to climb two steps.  Unfortunately, the buggy does not have wheelchair accessibility.
