Butterfly Education and Pollinator Garden Walk
Step into the charm of the past and the beauty of nature during this unique program at the Sams House historic pioneer cabin surrounded by pollinator gardens. We’ll begin with an introduction to Florida’s butterflies, then enjoy a walk around the native plant gardens. Along the way you will learn about creating pollinator-friendly landscapes and observe butterflies in the wild. Discover how planting with purpose can bring your own landscape to life with butterflies and other pollinators.
Sams House at Pine Island Conservation Area is part of Brevard County’s Environmentally Endangered Lands (EEL) program. //Established in 1990, the EEL program acquires and manages environmentally endangered lands using scientifically guided conservation practices to protect native plants, wildlife, and ecosystems for future generations.
