Bees, Butterflies and Blooms

The Brevard Backyard Beekeepers will be buzzing with activity at the UF/IFAS Extension Brevard County Center in Cocoa to celebrate all pollinators.  The event is FREE to the public and is aimed to educate people of all ages about butterflies, honeybees and the global importance of pollinating insects.  The event will feature:  demonstrations and lectures by Honeybee Experts, Master Gardeners, Conservationists and Holistic Health Practitioners; local crafts, honey and hive products will be available for purchase.

  • Spelling Bee for Elementary and Middle School Kids
  • Discover the Benefits of supporting all pollinators
  • Watch a live honey extraction: fresh, free local honey samples to take home!
  • Food, vendors, children’s games and activities
  • Merritt Island Wildlife Association Booth
