Prehistoric Animals Living in Modern Times

April 27 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm EDT

Discover how ancient creatures from prehistoric times, unchanged by evolution since the age of dinosaurs, continue to thrive today, with some even found in your local environment. Participants gain insights into the resilience and adaptations of these “living fossils,” fostering a deeper appreciation for Florida’s rich natural history. Following the classroom presentation, there will be an interactive exploration of prehistoric-themed artifacts and a guided outdoor experience to connect the lessons with the natural world.
